Cruise Consultant

Leading company in the cruise industry is currently seeking an inside sales representative.  Ideally, we are looking for individuals who have a passion for the travel industry, geographical knowledge, experience traveling, a competitive nature, and enthusiasm and energy to drive sales.

The base salary is $30K plus commission, full benefits including a 401K plan, as well as other perks such as a workout facility and opportunities to win trips, cash and other incentive-based prizes.  The average first year total compensation is $40-70K and our top performers make over $110K.  The company is located one block from the Metro, Marc and Amtrak in the Landover area.  Experience in sales is a plus but it is not necessary.

Requirements:

• Excellent follow-up skills and organizational skills
• Exceptional telephone communication and writing skills
• Ability to multi-task is critical
• Competency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet searching
• 2 or 4-year degree is strongly preferred
• Willingness and ability to handle 80% inbound calls and 20% outbound calls
• Knowledge of international geography or at least a strong desire and willingness to learn about it
• Previous travel experience is favorable

Must be able to work in the Prince George’s County Area
