Gib Mason

Gib is a high profile, entrepreneurial, consensus-building executive with broad management experience.  He has had great impact on companies in the areas of revenue growth, cultural development, and leadership.

Prior to joining EntreQuest, Gib was the Chief Financial Officer of EMG, a privately held international environmental and engineering assessment consulting firm.  During his tenure, EMG achieved 95% growth while simultaneously reducing the workforce by 11%.  Prior to joining EMG, Gib was the Chief Operating Officer and President of 180’s, Inc, an outdoor apparel and accessories design and manufacturing company.  Throughout his five years at 180’s, the company grew from $1MM in revenue to $45MM in revenue.  The growth culminated in a #1 ranking by the ICIC as the fastest growing inner city company in the country for 2003 a 9,249% growth rate. 

Gib graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics.  In addition he is a Certified Public Accountant.

In the community, Gib is a founding member of the b4students Foundation, and the Baltimore Business Consortium.  He sits on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Mentoring Partnership and is the Boys Travel Basketball Director for Baltimore County Recreation and Parks in Catonsville.  In addition, his past board or committee responsibilities include Market Exposure, Inc, Fresh Milled Foods, Inc, Vansco Industries, National Aquarium in Baltimore Advocates, Baltimore City Public Schools Digital Harbor High School Advisory Committee and the Greater Baltimore Alliance Executive Sales Mission Member.  In addition he is a graduate of the 2001 Greater Baltimore Committee LEADERship Class and the 2002 Visionary Solutions Group.  Finally, Gib has been formally recognized for his volunteerism by the State of Maryland and Governor Ehrlich, the City of Baltimore and Mayor O’Malley and Baltimore Junior Achievement.

 

Rob Macdonald

Rob is a Partner with EntreQuest and is involved in creating, defining and articulating processes and methodologies for all of the company’s strategic business units.  He also takes the lead on EntreQuest’s introductory offering, the Sales Assessment.  In his career, Rob has worked directly with the ownership and executives of over 300 businesses and nonprofit organizations, helping them understand the best way to grow their companies.

 

Prior to joining EntreQuest, Rob was co-founder, managing partner and president of Smith Content, Inc., a marketing-communications firm.  He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and holds an MFA from Columbia College, Chicago, where he taught creative writing for many years in the prestigious Fiction Writing Program. For business audiences, Rob has conducted seminars and trainings on marketing and, specifically, on the role of content in the sales cycle.  Rob is also a published newspaper and magazine columnist, essayist and short story writer. He honed his organizational and management skills as a trial paralegal and litigation manager for a multimillion-dollar law firm.

In the community, Rob and his wife Bobbi founded Baltimore City’s first public charter school, City Neighbors Charter School, which opened on September 6, 2005 as an elementary and middle school with a unique focus on arts-integration, project-based learning and 100% parental involvement.

 

Emmanuel (Manny) Skevofilax

A Baltimore , Maryland native, Manny holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Finance from The University of Baltimore. 

His background consists of over fifteen years of diverse financial services experience and includes formal bank credit training and service as a Vice President with a Top 20 U.S. financial institution. He has corporate lending experience in the southwest and western U.S. markets, with specialties in commercial business finance, real estate finance, and large corporate syndicated lending.

Manny lends his considerable financial management expertise to the Principals of EntreQuest, in his capacity of virtual CFO and is the Principal of PORTAL Finance Group.

 

Mack McGee

Mack joined EntreQuest as a member of the sales and marketing team. Along with Brandon Etheridge, he heads EQ’s lead generation program and is responsible for developing relationships with potential clients and supporting CEO Jason Pappas and President Joe Mechlinski in sales operations.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mack earned his bachelors degree in Communications.  While in college Mack worked at NBC in Baltimore as the Weekend Sports Producer and was privileged to meet some of top athletes in professional sports.  Mack particular enjoys watching Alabama football, Maryland sports, and the Baltimore Ravens.  If it’s above 50 degrees you will probably find Mack on the golf course and he loves talking about EQ on the golf course with prospective clients.  Mack is also a three sport coach with Baltimore County Special Olympics and currently lives in Hunt Valley.

 

Brandon Etheridge

Brandon recently joined EntreQuest as a member of the sales and marketing team. Along with Mack McGee, he heads EQ’s lead generation program and is responsible for the coordination of EQ’s marketing campaigns and activities.

He is a 2007 graduate of Yale University, where he earned Bachelors degree in Political Science. He was a two year varsity letterman as a defensive end on the Yale Football team. Brandon brings diverse experience to EntreQuest, having interned during college in the Federal Major Crimes Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia as well as for the Interventions Department of the International Justice Mission, an international human rights NGO based in Washington, DC.

 

Kristen Zatina

Director of Creativity

Kristen plays on the creative side of EntreQuest's team – conceptualizing ideas, writing content for marketing materials and client-related projects, and coordinating special events.  Working with Business Development, Quest for Hire, and Quest for Yes, Kristen can usually be found behind the scenes – probably wearing all black and definitely armed with a pen.

Kristen graduated from Ithaca College in upstate New York with a degree in Television and Radio, a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations, and a minor in French.  Prior to joining EntreQuest, she interned both at Interscope Geffen A&M Records in Los Angeles and for the Q104.3 Classic Rock Morning Show in New York City. 

 

Annie O'Dell

Office Manager

Annie O’Dell joined Entrequest to work in logistics and operations.  Her responsibilities include assisting her team members, coordinating events and seminars, assist with creating proposals and agreements, corresponding with clients and performing other tasks to assure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. 

Annie originally hails from Red Wing, Minnesota a land of boots and pottery.  While attending Gustavus Adolphus College she worked at a summer camp teaching inner city kids to ride horses and bail hay in rural Michigan.  After completing her degree in Communication Studies, she moved to Baltimore to work as a Field Consultant for Cold Stone Creamery in Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.  Saturday mornings you can find her simultaneously watching Project Runway and drinking Starbucks.
