Helping others grow is the foundation for what we do at entreQuest and while the majority of our work revolves around raising revenue for our client companies, we sincerely believe the most rewarding profits are those gained from our non-profit involvement.
In 2001, the same year entreQuest was incorporated, Joe Mechlinski and two other local leaders started a non-profit organization together called the b4students Foundation. Operating simultaneously within the same walls as entreQuest, b4students existed as a mentoring foundation for the corporate community of Baltimore, Maryland to invest in the educational development of local high school students. Companies throughout the city would volunteer their team members to teach imperative skills of leadership, professionalism, and self-value through in-school programs and extracurricular activities to those who needed the support most. In 2007, b4students was acquired by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland and continues to offer businesses as way to contribute to the futures of young adults throughout Maryland.
At entreQuest, we believe the key to life is gratitude. This sentiment is shared by many, if not all, of our partners and clients. Together, we are grateful for the many opportunities we’ve been given to be more actively involved in pro-bono work, charitable events, and fundraising campaigns.
In turn, our involvement in pro-bono work, charitable events, and fundraising campaigns gives the added opportunities to work and interact with a wide variety of people, while providing valuable lessons in teamwork, leadership, and commitment. We are proud that our team has collectively volunteered countless hours towards the causes that matter most to them because making a difference in the world is ultimately what matters most to entreQuest.
If you share our beliefs and know of a community or a non-profit organization you feel could benefit from more awareness and activity from globally conscious businesses, contact entreQuest. A growing network has no limits to the greater good it can do. As we have seen, time and time again, in the reciprocal relationships between the private and the public sectors, it is the achievements of altruism that yield infinite profits.
